    Pros +

    • The building has an attractive architectural design, and the hotel’s location is convenient and well-situated, close to the sea as well as to restaurants and cafés.The staff deserve recognition for their professionalism and courtesy. They were polite, respectful, and genuinely cooperative, and they made real efforts to improve our stay by assisting us with changing rooms and addressing issues within their capacity. Special thanks to Aisha and Hassan for their helpfulness and professionalism.
    • The external environment is good (trees, swimming pool, etc)
    • The room that they put us in, was different than what we booked. We wanted to face the pool and paid extra for it when we made the reservation, and they would not give that to us, because they said we didn’t book with them directly- true, I virtually never book directly with a hotel… We got an “upgrade”, but we asked for pool view and that was a no, even though we paid especially extra for a pool view and did not need any further upgrades. Our room flooded from the shower not draining. They could not fix it, the repair person walked all over our towels and left dirty footprints and we got no room service. Front desk said it was fixed, but it wasn’t and fortunately we noticed immediately to have only a smaller flood the second time… we couldn’t shower for the first 2 days and the bathroom floor had constant standing water. The curtain was fallen and they couldn’t fix that either…Eventually we asked.. actually kinda fought for a new room. The receptionist was condescending and rude. The second receptionist gave us another room. The food was good and the food staff was fun , helpful and nice, the amenities they are trying to offer are also fun. The spa tub didn’t work … overall pretty run down for the price we paid I definitely expected more…

    Cons -

    • I stayed at this hotel for four nights, traveling with a friend; each of us had a separate room, and our impressions were identical. The hotel did not justify the amount paid. Despite being listed on Booking as a 5-star property, the actual experience does not reflect a five-star standard in any way.The furniture is old, and the services and facilities fall well below what is expected from a 5-star hotel. Basic amenities are missing, including a telephone in the room. The bathroom design is particularly poor, with no shower cabin, no bathtub, and no curtain to prevent water from flooding the bathroom during use. This is an experience I would not repeat.
    • It has been ranked as 5 stars, but in fact is supposed to be 3 stars since it doesn’t have any facilities of 5 . Room doesn’t have table, hangers, tea and coffee machines as it was mentioned, old towels!

One block from the beach walk, 24 hr security in front, very gracious and accommodating staffAppreciated a suite upgradeSurprised to find that breakfast and dinner were included, nice variety of dishes (although hot food not very hot)

While the property looked shiny and new, the physical plant both in the rooms and the outside are not fully maintainedNo green practices (noticed partially used toilet paper rolls in the maids trash cart as a new roll placed in the room daily.Sunken bathtub had water spots and dirty grout-lines, some light bulbs were out, blackout curtain not fully closed, automatic lighting in stairwell to the room didn’t light until we were at top of stirs (used a pocket flashlight); checkin was very warm but we received an apology for the delay because their system would not encode the room key.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the prestige hotel, thanks especially to Fadua who was incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. She generously allowed an early check-in and even upgraded our room, which made a great first impression and really set the tone for the stay. The hotel itself is very nice, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was excellent and definitely a highlight of my visit. The only small area for improvement would be the bathroom. The seamless shower design looks modern, but water tends to splash everywhere, so a bit of touch-up or adjustment would make it more practical.Overall, a great experience, and I truly appreciated the outstanding hospitality from the manager and staff. I would happily stay here again.

Nothing, this is the worst hotel I have ever experienced and would rate minus points if I could. The staff were dreadful and dismissive, they ignored our requests for accessibility causing one of our guests to have to use oxygen having been dragged too far to the room. They were overbooked and wouldn't admit, we were left waiting around all day to be checked in to damp and dirty rooms.

Everything was awful, the food and the service - no one around to take a drinks order or to update on check in etc etc . Waited 2.5 hrs for 'management' to come and see us about our complaints and no one arrived, when we asked again there was no one there for the rest of the day and wouldn't tell us when they'd be available in the morning. Needless to say we lef t that night

Very good service from Fadwa from guest relations department and the man in reception (don't know his name). They fixed everything we requested! Super good customer service! Very helpful, respectful and we got super nice room. We got view to the pool, beautiful room and very comfortable bed for me and my fiancé. Also they help with carrying the luggage to the room, and in general the vibe is amazing because the hotel staff is caring and friendly towards every guest here. I highly recommend this hotel if you want high value for your money. I must admit that you should keep your lunch and dinner reservations at another place tho, only because we have extremely high expectations. The food is always good in Agadir if you do your research first.

Thank you so much for the amazing experience. The room was absolutely beautiful — spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The view was stunning, truly one of the best I have ever seen, and it made my stay even more special. Every detail in the room was perfect, and I genuinely felt relaxed the entire time. Your hospitality and the quality of the environment exceeded all expectations. I truly appreciate everything, and I will definitely return.

    Swiming pool nice,. Breakfast OK.

The hotel is no way 5star.We had crockroach in a room without windows. Roomnumbers not on the door. No phone in the room, 5 minutes walk to the reception. Checkin lasted 10+ minutes with no other guestWe did not manage to get a cup of milk after 3 rounds of communication with the staff-

    swimming pool, breakfast.

there was no alcoholic options than what they have left of Moroccan wine and cheap brand alcohol. there was cockroaches in the room. and the reception or other staff doesn't do anything about, so I sleep with lights on all my stay. not a 5 star hotel, in my opinion it's a 2 star.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!!!! THIS IS NIGHTMARE

Hotel is under construction, only a few rooms available and all of them are located on the top of the night club. Every single night loud music till five o’clock in the morning, impossible to sleep at all.Food is very poor, no choice at all, for dinner there’s no drinks. For glass of water we paid 20 MAD!!! Staff was trying to get more money for ordered drinks at checkout, so we had to take all receipts and show them that they are wrong ??‍♀️

This is going to be a long review ?From the very get go it was bad ,, as soon as arrived we were greeted by the hotel manager Aziz.I usually pay for my property on arrival when I use booking.com ,, the price was around £425/£435 , The hotel manager Aziz requested I cancel my booking and he would give me a discount ,I told him I’m not fussed about the discount and to just charge me what was promised by booking ,he carried on persisting me to cancel it and got his calculator and was trying to confuse me typing in figures in dirhams. He was showing me figures which was nearly £100 over on what I had booked with booking.com.He said if it’s not done the way he was supposing then we can find another hotel ,at that point I knew this wasn’t right ,I have been to many 5 star hotels and have never ever been treated in this way, they have never try overcharging me,the whole reason I pay the extra money for 5star is to avoid all of the shenanigans. It was really distressing and unsettling for us as he knew we would have no where to go at that time of night so we had no choice to go along with the facade.I explained to Aziz I don’t know how to cancel my booking as it’s something that I have never had to do in all of my time using booking.com,he replied no problem I can do it for you ,I handed my phone over to him he was on my phone for a couple of minute trying to cancel the booking whilst also changing my original pound currency to Euros on my original booking.I continued asking why can’t you charge me what was promised when I made the booking like usual.Every time I bought this to his attention he just spoke over me and said this is not how it works whilst grinning and continued to speak to me in a patronising way. When it came time for the payment he told me I can’t pay all of the amount on my card I have to pay 400 dirhams in cash ,I knew that was nonsense but I just had to go along with it.

Pool area was beautiful, as were the bar, reception and dining areas

The majority of the hotel was undergoing renovation, including the spa. The hotel was therefore almost empty with only rooms on the first floor, to the front of the hotel appearing occupied. We checked in at 9.30pm and were given a corner room on the first floor. The room was spacious but had seen better days with furniture stained and marked. The room had no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes, so we had to use the two huge velvet couches in one corner of the room as a makeshift wardrobe. These couches had also seen better days and were covered in multiple cigarette burns. There was a spacious terrace to the side. We left for a walk along the beach area and returned around midnight to find loud music coming up through the floor of our room. This music increased in volume and around 2pm I contacted reception who advised they would ask the nightclub to turn the music down, this didn’t happen and I called reception again asking for another room. The night manager came up and showed me two other rooms at the other end of the corridor. The music was just as loud and that was because there was a nightclub at the other side of the hotel too. The loud thump of the bass reverberated through the whole corridor so there was no escaping it. The night manager advised both nightclubs were open 7 days a week, till 5am, and that the rooms in the middle of the corridor were the least noisy and that he would move us to one of those in the morning. The next morning, reception advised the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available until the following day. We couldn’t bear another night of the noise or feeling the thumping bass while in bed, so we booked into the Iberostar Waves for the remainder of our stay. The Prestige have apologised but refused to refund me for the nights we didn’t stay. As mentioned in other reviews the hotel is a faded beauty and we were prepared for this but having no sleep is non negotiable.

    5Dr_bPosted on: 4-3-2025

On a positive note, the breakfast exceeded our expectations.

First of all, when we arrived, the acknowledged twin bedroom was not assigned to us. Instead, we received a doubleroom. The re-assignment procedure was complicated and finally lead to a room above the nightclub, which operated during the night and was rather loud. Given that the hotel was not fully booked, the receptionist should have taken assigned a room far ayw from the noise.Additionally, since only a few rooms were occupied, both the spa and fitness center were closed for 'renovation.' This should have been mentioned in the description.
